Black Robot is a small batch custom print shop located in downtown Burlington Ontario. We are passionate about small business and community. A major part of our mission is to give back to the communities we work in and strive to leave things better than how we found them.
We thrive on creating truly unique pieces and will work with you to create something that you love.
Why?
As you are all aware, we are currently in a time of uncertainty and distress. Community support is greatly important now more than ever. During this time of uncertainty, most agree that the local economy will be weighed down by the impact of COVID-19. The impacts on small businesses and independents can be particularly heavy as we practice social distancing.
As a small business ourselves we have seen first hand these heavy effects. Streets are empty, businesses are closing and people are interacting in a very strange way. With our core mission in mine we scheduled a team meeting and asked “How can we help?”
Neighbours 4 Neighbours was born. We worked around the clock to create t-shirt designs and develop a website solely to support this community give back initiative. If we can give people an outlet to shop local, support small businesses, practice social distancing and look good at the same time, everyone is a winner! And the small businesses get publicity for FREE and people wearing the shirts and sharing on social channels to drive awareness. Win, Win, Win!
