Black Robot is a small batch custom print shop, located in downtown Burlington, offering no minimums on printed products. We print t-shirts, mugs, hats, key chains, puzzles, business cards, flyers, brochures, menus, post cards, stickers, labels, banners, posters, canvas prints, greeting cards, product packaging and prototyping.....

We are passionate about community and small business. We work with many small businesses and frequent small businesses regularly. We love to shop local and support small business and entrepreneurs wherever we can. During this time of uncertainty we wanted to provide an outlet for the community to come together, even when social distancing, and support their local small business owners. Giving back to our community is ingrained into our business model.

The process is simple. You purchase your shirt(s) and once your order is processed we will take $10 from each shirt sold (not each order, but each individual shirt) and purchase a gift card to a local small business. We will then give these gift cards away through our social media channels. 

First off, you get a really awesome shirt to promote your support for local small business. Purchasing gift cards will give the businesses a source of cash flow during these times of uncertainty. The businesses also get a little free publicity out of the give aways and ideally people wearing the shirts and sharing on social media will keep the message going and drive awareness. The gift cards will be given away and the winners will get to visit the businesses once we are on the other side of the COVID-19 isolation. Winning also boosts peoples morale and we can all use a little happiness in these times.

Due to the nature of the Neighbours 4 Neighbours model and giving $10 per shirt away, we cannot offer refunds and therefore all sales are final.

• Shop small businesses online
• Use shipping, door-to-door and delivery services available
• Purchase coffee grounds from your local coffee shop
• Pick up bread or baked goods from your local bakery
• Consider purchasing gift cards for future use – they’ll receive the revenue now while foot traffic is down and you’ll have something to look forward to!
• Share, tweet, post about your favourite small business – let’s spread some positivity!
• Purchase your personal items, shampoo, soaps, face wash, creams etc. from local businesses instead of busy box stores
• Don’t cancel appointments, reschedule if possible
